Sensitive Information
You acknowledge that in the course of your use of the Website we may receive Sensitive Personal Information (“SPI”). SPI means personal information relating to your password; physical, physiological and mental health condition; medical records and history; sexual orientation and financial information. You hereby consent and agree to allow us to store and display the SPI collected on the Website. SPI collected by us shall not be disclosed to any third party without your express consent, save as otherwise set out in this Policy or the Terms of Use or as required by law.

Confidentiality is the cornerstone of psychotherapy. We will keep confidential and protect your Personal Information and SPI except where disclosure is required or permitted by law or in instances where use and disclosure thereof is permitted under this Policy.
What you share in your interactions during consultation remains private within the treating team. Even the fact that you are availing these services shall remain private. Existwise will take all reasonable precautions to protect confidential information obtained through or stored in any medium.
There are certain limits to confidentiality - especially when an individual’s safety is concerned. This includes situations where there is a threat of serious harm to the client themselves or to someone else, or where minors, senior citizens or disabled persons may be being abused. In such cases, the psychotherapist will be obligated to share information with the clinical supervisor and others, including emergency contacts and other people deemed fit and essential to maintain safety, including but not limited to family, friends, and law enforcement authorities.
In the event that you wish to seek consultation from another mental health or medical professional, clinically significant information can be shared with the relevant professional with your consent.
5. THIRD PARTY DISCLOSURE

Third parties provide certain services available on our website and on our behalf. These include, but are not limited to, customer service, technical maintenance, monitoring, email management and communication, database management, billing and payment processing, reporting and analytics. We will share with them only the minimum necessary information to perform their task and will take reasonable steps to ensure that they are obligated to protect Personal Information on our behalf through confidentiality agreements. Existwise does not sell or trade your Personal Information to third parties unless we provide you with advance notice.

Your SPI and Personal Information may be collected and stored on servers located in the territory of India and such other countries as we may disclose from time to time. Existwise, at it’s sole discretion, reserves the right to change or remove any part of the Privacy Policy without notice or liability to any third party. Should this Policy change, we intend to take every reasonable step to ensure that these changes are brought to your attention by posting all changes on our Website for a reasonable period of time. If you object to any of the changes and no longer wish to use the platform, you can contact us at support@existwise.com to discontinue using our platform and deactivate your account.
